Acrylic, ink, spray paint on paper construct 16″x25″ SOLD

The sections of this piece actually sat together on the floor of my studio for a couple months. I knew they belonged together but wasn’t sure how until it just clicked one day. I got the major sections glued together and then brought in my usual colors and shapes that were common characters in the work from this general period. I see the paper constructs as toy-like objects. Found, mended, and transformed by me into this new ‘thing’. They have all my favorite elements of a more normal painting, yet in a little ball of energy you could imagine pulling off the wall, throwing and bouncing all around.
