About the Piece:
This photograph was taken in Kyoto, Japan. It is paired with dried foliage from a crepe myrtle tree and a butterfly I found on my front stoop. It also has dried marigolds which I like due to their many interpretations. They can symbolize grief or jealousy or hint to Dia de los Muertos.
