About the piece:
This piece is probably the most graphic of all the Flux pieces. I remember I was signing the back of it, listening to the news, and they said that Osama Bin Laden had been killed. I was listening so intently to the radio, a little in shock, that I mistakenly painted the wrong year. So, I did the best I could to paint over 2010 and paint the actual year.
