Comment, oil on panel with chipboard and wood, 2014, 30″ x 24”

Comment both “comments” on the square as a minimalist “go-to” shape. With the addition of the wood panel at the bottom, I feel the raw wood belies it’s dependence on the square. I also like that the wood “addition” at the bottom humbly props up the work, and echoes the situation of “comments” below the main text of an internet post.
