CICADA 1948

$375.00

Silver gelatin print on metal stamp case with a cicada, dried cherry blossoms and stamps.
8x10in black shadowbox frame

About the Piece:
This photograph was taken at Zakimi Castle in Okinawa, Japan.  The flowers and cicada represent Summer but also the fragility of life and the passing of time.  Which is also represented by the number stamps.  I like to think this piece and ‘BEETLE 1957’ are a set because they go so well together and they have the same meaning behind them.
